Online Post-Event Conversation
Mapping the Territory: Learning to Use Organizational Storytelling
The conversation continues
Now that you've attended the Storytelling weekend in DC, connect with other storytellers in an informal online
conversation. Special guests include Seth Kahan and Steve Denning.
- What key ideas and themes frame the theories and approaches to
organizatoinal storytelling?
- Where is there agreement and disagreement among practitioners and theorists?
- What are the drivers of the current interest in stories and where does it fit in the conversation about knowledge management and organizational change?
Who are Group Jazz and WorkingStories?
Group Jazz supports the work of groups, whether they meet face-to-face, online, or both. We bring together the best tools, technologies, media, and PEOPLE to produce great group experiences with powerful results.
WorkingStories is a virtual and international community, exploring all aspects of organizational storytelling. Over 240 managers, consultants and storytellers from more than 15 countries participate, make arrangements to meet in person, debate and develop applications which apply to government, private and public sector organizations.
Where will it be?
We will meet in a virtual conference center on the web to begin to explore ideas from the workshop. The online environment will enable us to review some materials and concepts from workshop speakers. We'll also have the opportunity for attendees to share their own experience and perspectives. This is your chance to get a jump start on workshop networking. Insights, questions, and relationships emerging from the virtual workshop will provide a basis for
speakers and participants to hit the ground running at the workshop and make our conversations there deeper and richer.
